Which site is the best for online trading? I'm looking to trade online for the first time. I am a beginner with about $5,000 to invest and at this time I would like to know which site would work best for someone like me. So what would you recommend? Use Scottrade or Etrade. I use scottrade and love it! Easiest to use, easy navigation. Affordable real time quotes.

That list should be from A-Z and an added AA-ZZ. There are tons and tons of brokers to choose from, and maybe only a couple that have what you are looking for. There are several different sites that provide lesser costs than those brokers, as well as several that provide greater services. Sharebuilder doesn't even let you buy mutual funds, for instance. It would be worth your while to do some background research. This site is the best site I've found for research.
