What is the difference between Business administration and business accounting?

I was lookin in the centenial college site, and i am confused which program i should choose: one is business administration which takes 6 semester to complete the other one is business accounting which takes 4 semester to complete. I want to pursue my career as a CA,CMA or CGA in future. However I am concerned with which one of these two I am elligible to transfer credit to university to earn a designation in accounting. please help thanks

1. Business admin is the science/art of operating a business, including marketing, management, supply, administration, etc. Accounting is the specialty of actually doing the accounting for a company or person. Business admin. will not set you up to be an accountant.
