Online Trading Broker

I am looking for a new online stock broker. I want one that I can purchase US and Canadian stock.?

1. Go with Schwab. Not the cheapest but in my opinion the best. They can buy in almost any country through their international sales desk. Good customer service.
2. You can look at E*trade... all U.S stocks...many Canadian companies trade on NYSE and NASDAQ...but I know, besides that E*trade handles some foreign exchanges directly...( I own some Norwegian shipping stock ( DSSPF) purchased on the Oslo market..)
